AbstractThis paper examines the development of a website to help teenage students improve their motivation towards writing lessons for the Cambridge ESOL PET and FCE exams. The paper examines writing development, including process and product models of writing, and error correction issues. It then goes on to discuss the structure of the site created, including a teachers’ guide, relating it to writing development theory. We then consider the implementation of the site, and reactions from students and teachers.
